One of the most treasured contributions to any fundraising efforts is an unrestricted gift. Without a specific designated purpose or the constraints of a permanent endowment, an unrestricted gift maximizes our ability to apply funds where needed most. Unrestricted donations give us the flexibility to move beyond annual budget limitations and respond immediately to compelling programmatic opportunities as soon as they arise.  

Endowed Gifts

An endowed gift is a one that keeps giving for generations to come. When you establish an endowed fund with Columbia Green, the principal of your gift will be carefully invested to generate revenue for the purpose of your choice in perpetuity.

Endowed funds can be established for program, service, or an existing endowed fund at Columbia Green; the possibilities are endless as are the joys of giving!

Planned Gifts

A planned gift to Columbia Green helps you leave a legacy for sustainable gardening, tree canopy, and environmental awareness. Contact Columbia Green to learn about the different planned giving options available to you. We will work with you to find a charitable plan that lets you provide for your family while also strengthening your connection to the “greening” of our community.

Matching Gifts

Many employers will match charitable contributions made by their employees. Some programs also match donations made by retirees and/or spouses. Check with your workplace to see if they offer this benefit and request a matching gift form.  Send the completed form, along with your donation, to Columbia Green. 

Garden Sale Fundraisers

Whether you’re moving into a smaller home, or just need to make room for your next big garden project, Columbia Green wants to help you organize a garden sale. We will help you stage, price, and sell plants, tools, garden art, or other outdoor supplies in exchange for your contribution of at least 50% of the proceeds to Columbia Green.
