2022 Grow Some Shade Tree Giveaway

As part of our effort to reduce urban heat, Columbia Green launched Grow Some Shade in 2022. We invited participants to complete an application on our website and to select one of a variety of native trees to plant in their yards.

On Sunday, December 4th, we set up shop at Pelican’s Snoballs on North Main and distributed 100 trees in 3-5 gallon containers to the people who signed up.
