This year’s meeting will feature a special presentation called The State of Columbia’s Urban Canopy, by Dr. Kirsten Dow, Distinguished Professor Emerita at USC’s Department of Geography and Brian Neiger, City Superintendent of Forestry and Beautification. Dr. Dow will present data from this year’s canopy study and Brian will talk about what Columbia Green and the City of Columbia are doing to help to protect and restore our canopy.
