Columbia Green Community Grants

The Columbia Green Community Grants program provides grants of up to $5,000 to support projects that benefit our community in meaningful ways. Columbia Green has been making grants to not-for-profit groups in the Greater Columbia area for the past 30 years. Our impact map shows the extent of our reach. The grant application period for 2024 is now closed.

How Can Grant Funds Be Used?

Columbia Green Community Grant funds can be used for projects related to nature preservation, green spaces, educational gardens, and enhancing the beauty and function of public spaces. Funds cover the cost of plants, trees, soil amendments, and mulch but cannot be used for labor, delivery costs, irrigation, hardscaping, or any plant on the invasive species list.

Who Can Apply?

Your group must be in the Greater Columbia area. Groups include not-for-profits, such as neighborhood organizations, foundations, schools, places of worship, public gardens, and garden clubs. If you aren’t sure if your group is eligible, please contact us.
