2018 Festival of Gardens

Date: Friday, May 4 and Saturday, May 5, 2018
Time: 9:30 am -4:00pm

Ready to stroll and take in springtime? Ten private gardens in the beautiful Forest Hills neighborhood, whose origins date back to 1859, will be open during Columbia Green’s annual Festival of Gardens tour. Over the years, efforts have been made to preserve and protect the old-growth trees that were present at the time of Forest Hills’ development, and, indeed, the trees are a distinctive feature of the landscape.  Today, Forest Hills remains a unique in-town, residential neighborhood    distinguished by its rolling hills with abundant pine and oak trees and well-kept, handsome houses and grounds that make it an oasis amid the urban surroundings.

The tour will be held Friday, May 5th and Saturday, May 6th with gardens open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day. Advanced tickets are $20.00 for Columbia Green members and $30.00 for non-members. Day of the tour tickets are an additional $5.00.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. at Cricket Newman Designs, 2710 Gervais St., Columbia 29204
Proceeds from the tour fund our mission of promoting the beautification of the Columbia area.

Tickets purchased through the website have a $2.50 convenience fee added at checkout.
